“Ko te šiša” Charity Event: Haircuts for a Cause by Gogo Hair Studio
On August 6, 2024, our team at Gogo Hair Studio, led by the renowned Ploče-based hairstylist Goran Marković – Tomak, along with our dedicated colleagues Leontina and Mia, participated in a special humanitarian event titled “Ko te šiša” at the Komin estuary. This annual event, infused with the unique positive energy of the beach bar “Kiteboarding Komin,” the artistry of Gogo’s scissors, and the rhythm of DJ Tornado, is aimed at supporting charitable causes.
This year, all proceeds from the event were donated to the association “Leptirići,” which supports children with cerebral palsy and other neurological disorders in the Neretva Valley.
From the moment we set up our station, Leontina, Mia, and I didn’t put down our scissors, clippers, and other grooming tools. We offered free haircuts and shaves to everyone who joined us, and the response was overwhelming. People took the opportunity to get a quality haircut and shave while enjoying the fantastic music by DJ Tornado, all while contributing to a great cause.
We are incredibly grateful for the community’s support and proud to have been part of this meaningful event. The turnout was excellent, and the funds raised will significantly impact the lives of the children supported by “Leptirići.”
